HISTORY

In April 1981 Larry and his brother Hubert purchased the Pentecostal Church (formerly Oneida First Baptist Church) located at the corner of Elijah Road and Fairground Road. It was a small structure (20 feet by 30 feet) and sat on a half acre of land. Another half acre of land owned by the Oneida Council was purchased.

In 1985 a 40-foot by 44-foot sanctuary was added. This was financed by donations from the parishioners. In 2006 another addition (40-foot by 40 foot) was added. This had a fellowship hall, a new kitchen, and washrooms. In 2009 the original structure was torn down and replaced.

In the 1980's Hubert and Larry ministered in various reserves within a 160-kilometer radius of Oneida. Monthly Saturday night rallies were held. There was a mighty move of Holy Spirit as many were saved, bodies were healed, people were set free and ministers were raised up.
