WELCOME

Oneida House of Prayer & Worship Center

"A First Nations & Multi-Cultural Church"

In April 1981 we held our opening service at the Oneida House of Prayer & Worship Center. As we have grown the building has had two major additions.

The ministry originally came under the leadership of Bishop Hubert Ireland. In 1984 Pastor Larry Ireland returned from Bible College in the United States.

In 1995 Pastor Larry Ireland and Mrs. Liz Ireland assumed the leadership of the Church. They continue to serve faithfully until now.

  2. Develop a strong, anointed youth ministry.
  3. Train & equip youth to reach others.
  4. Raise up leaders.
  5. We see the Oneida House of Prayer & Worship Center as a healing center where healing of the body flows and health is restored.
  6. We see the Oneida House of Prayer & Worship Center as a place where souls are set free and chains of addiction, mental illness & other chains are broken.
  7. A place where God restores other First Nations.
  8. Resume monthly outreaches and rallies to other reserves.
  9. Church plant on Muncy reserve.

OUR MISSION

The Church has and continues to be a light in the darkness, the “city on the hill”. In the midst of Native spiritualism, Oneida House of Prayer & Worship Center continues to bring salvation, healing & deliverance to the people of the Oneida reserve and elsewhere, welcoming all.

The Church has several special meetings ranging from ecumenical meetings with other churches on the reserve to monthly meetings with guest speakers the first Saturday of the month to a three-day indoor camp meeting every October to the annual Singspiration every April.

The Church is also big on fellowship with a potluck after the Saturday service and a monthly men and ladies breakfast.

The Church has outreaches. On Friday nights from September to April, they host a Christian movie night.
